She was born in Seoul and is currently based in Frankfurt am Main and Seoul.

She studied composition and computer/electronic music at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (Bachelor of Music, Master of Music) and composition at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre (Bachelor of Music), studying with Prof. Orm Finnendahl, Prof. Ulrich Kreppein, and Prof. Peter Manfred Wolf.

She studied Computer Science at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2021 to 2024.

She has participated in workshops, seminars, and masterclasses with Prof. Michael Reudenbach, Brian Ferneyhough, Simon Steen-Andersen, Alexander Schubert, Lucia Ronchetti, the Arditti Quartet, Koka Nikoladze, Julia Mihály, Annesley Black, and Davide Gagliardi.

Her practice spans instrumental composition, computer and electronic music, installation-based performance, and web-driven sound environments. She often conceives space as an instrument and constructs situations in which acoustic phenomena, electronic sound, light, video, and digital networks form dynamic relational systems.

Through web technologies, she explores expanded notions of time and space, activates real-time data as compositional material, and develops new instrument-like installations. Collaboration and collective intelligence play a central role in shaping her performative and participatory works.

서울에서 태어났으며, 현재 프랑크푸르트 암 마인과 서울을 기반으로 활동하고 있다.

프랑크푸르트 국립음대에서 작곡과(클래식 현대음악 작곡 및 컴퓨터/전자음악) 학사와 석사 학위를 취득, 로스토크 국립음대에서 작곡을 수학하였다. Prof. Orm Finnendahl, Prof. Ulrich Kreppein, Prof. Peter Manfred Wolf에게 사사하였다.

또한 2021년부터 2024년까지 괴테대학교 프랑크푸르트에서 컴퓨터과학을 수학하였다.

그 밖에도 Prof. Michael Reudenbach, Brian Ferneyhough, Simon Steen-Andersen, Alexander Schubert, Lucia Ronchetti, Arditti Quartet, Koka Nikoladze, Julia Mihály, Annesley Black, Davide Gagliardi 등의 워크숍·세미나·마스터클래스에 참여하여 폭 넓은 스펙트럼의 예술환경과 작업방식을 경험하였다.

그의 작업은 기악 작곡, 컴퓨터 및 전자음악, 설치 기반 퍼포먼스, 웹 기반 사운드 환경을 아우른다. 공간 자체를 하나의 악기로 인식하며, 음향 현상과 전자 사운드, 빛, 영상, 디지털 네트워크가 상호작용하는 관계적 구조를 구성하는 작업을 지속해오고 있다.

웹 기술을 통해 시간과 공간의 확장된 개념을 탐구하며, 실시간 웹 데이터를 작곡적 재료로 활용하고, 새로운 형태의 악기적 설치를 개발한다. 또한 협업과 집단지성을 기반으로 한 수행적·참여적 작업을 중요하게 다루고 있다.
